The Dakota County Historical Society Research Library & Museum has more than 14,000 objects in its collection, as well as over 11,000 historical photographs representing aspects of the county's long past. A museum area has exhibits on a variety of significant points in regional history has over 25,000 objects in the museum's collections, including 11,000 photographs which are pertinent to Dakota County's past, including late 1800s town life. The center is located in the Twin Cities suburb of South Saint Paul, near the Mississippi River and beside Lawshe Park.

Hours of Operation:

Open Wed. and Fri. 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; Thurs. 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.; Sat. 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
